Global Change Leaders Program 2018 In Canada – Coady Institute – Fully Funded
Applications for the 2019 Global Change Leaders Program will remain open from September 1 until October 31, 2018. The Global Change Leaders Program 2018 In Canada – Coady Institute – Fully Funded is a seven-week education program offered by Coady Institute’s International Centre for Women’s Leadership. This program enables women from developing countries to strengthen their leadership capacities in order to contribute to innovation and change in their organizations and communities. The Global Change Leaders Program participants engage in learning grounded in real world experiences and focused on Coady’s core thematic areas.
The Global Change Leaders Program Benefits:
The Global Change Leaders program provides successful candidates with a Scholarship that includes Tuition, Travel, Accommodations, and Meals. Successful participants are responsible for costs pertaining to acquiring a visa to enter Canada.
The Global Change Leaders Program participants benefit from the guidance and mentor-ship of accomplished women leaders from around the world. The program is led by a core team of staff in the International Centre for Women’s Leadership and supported by other Coady faculty and associates.

The Global Change Leaders Eligibility:
Hold a university degree or a combination of post-secondary education and experience; and
Have strong oral and written English language competencies.
Will be immediately returning to their community and sector following the program to put their learning into practice.
Have great drive and passion for their work, demonstrated through their outstanding contributions in their organizations and communities.
Are practitioners in civil society organizations including community based organizations and not for profits, or active in public or private institutions, donor/philanthropic agencies, social movements or in a social enterprise/business.

The International Young Innovators Summit 2018 will be held from 8 – 11 October, 2018 at Tokyo (Japan). All young innovators are invited to submit applications to present their idea in front of the world. Are you have idea to be young innovator? Essay Competition “To China, With Love”
The topic is “To China, With Love”. The essay should be a letter to China from Pakistan depicting the perception of a common Pakistani about China. Your essay can consist of personal experiences related to China, your knowledge of China or any opinion that you have regarding China. You can conclude your essay by giving suggestions on how to enhance people-to-people connections between the two countries.
Rules and Regulations:
The participants must be above 18 years of age.
The essay should be written in either English or in Urdu Language (each participant can submit only one essay).
Your essay should be between 700 – 900 words.
The participants are instructed to submit a scanned copy of their passport and/or CNIC and contact details along with the essay. The essays must be submitted as a Word document.
You must mention your name and email address at the end of the essay.
For submission of the essay, the subject line must be ‘My Essay’.
Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
Individuals who have visited China cannot take part in the competition.
Pakistan-China Institute reserves the right to first publication of the essays submitted.
All participants will be served with a certificates of participation.
Winners and Runners Up will be considered for a study tour to China in 2019.
Please note that there will be separate winners for English and Urdu essays. There will be two winning prizes, four 2nd prizes and six 3rd prizes.
The winners will be announced in last week of October, 2018.

The competition is open to anyone.
The contest is organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first landing on the Moon. The subject of the submitted works should refer to this event.
For the 50th anniversary of the first flight to the Moon, 6x7 Leica Gallery Warsaw presents this summer an exhibition of the German photographer, Thomas Herbrich, entitled "The Truth about the Moon Landing".
Did people reach the Moon? We know Herbrich's opinion. Now we are asking YOU!
Try to answer question above, using photographs (up to five) or a short film (up to 15 seconds). Everyone is invited, and everything is allowed - you can use any technique, send real or fictitious stories, create real or manipulated pictures, prove or deny landing on the Moon. Everything depends on you. Original idea and creativity will count most! But remember: we want to have fun, and we want you to have fun too!
You may submit a maximum of five photos or one film (your film must be 15 seconds or less in duration).
